The only place to play Casino War in Las Vegas is on the Strip. Most casinos offer this game. The minimum bet is $10 at all Las Vegas Strip casinos except at Aria where it is $15. Of the Las Vegas casinos that offer Casino War, all spread just one table, except for Aria and Wynn, which offer two.
How to Play Casino War
Casino War may be the most pointless table game that uses cards. It is exactly the game you played as a kid. The only difference is that a bet is made on the cards. Each player at the table receives one card. The dealer also receives a card. If a player’s card is higher than the dealer’s, the player wins even money. If the dealer’s card is higher, the house wins. There is sometimes a tie dies bet that pays 10-1. This wager is optional.
In the event of a tie, there is a war. The player must match the original wager and an additional card is dealt to both the dealer and the player after three cards are burned. The other option is to fold half of the original bet if a player does not wish to go to war. If the player wins, the original bet pushes and the war bet wins. Many casinos will pay 2-1 to a player that ties the dealer on a war hand. Casinos that do not will pay the player on the raise in the event of a tie. The original bet will push.
