How to Play Let it Ride
Let it Ride is a poker game that does not involve a dealer’s hand. Players do not need to beat the house to win. All payouts are based on the ranking of the hand.
Players start by making three equal bets. There are usually two bonus side bets. One is typically a progressive jackpot that triggers on a royal flush. The other tends to be a bonus hand or a Pair Plus payout based on the first three cards.
Once the bets are established, players are dealt three cards. Two cards are placed in the center.
The player has two options. He may take a chip back or let the first stack ride. A player that will stay in until the end, such as one dealt a winner, should tuck cards at this point. Players should stay on any pair of 10’s or better, three suited cards 10 and higher, Three suited connectors, one–gap straight flush with a card 10 or higher or two-gap straight flush with two cards 10 and higher.
One of the center cards is shown. Players once again have the option to pull a stack back or play. Players should stay on a winner, four suited cards, four cards 10 and higher and four connected cards. At this point all cards should be tucked under the last stack. The dealer shows the second community card. Player hands are then graded. All live stacks are paid based on the following pay table:
- Royal Flush: 1000-1
- Straight Flush: 200-1
- Four of a Kind: 50-1
- Full House: 11-1
- Flush: 8-1
- Straight: 5-1
- Three of a Kind: 3-1
- Two Pair: 2-1
- Pair of 10’s or Better: 1-1
