How to Play and Bet on Asia Poker in Las Vegas
Players make a wager on the flat bet. There are also side bets. Players then receive seven cards. Players sort the cards into three hands. Players set a four-card high hand, two-card middle hand and one-card low hand. The four-card hand may include straights, flushes and straight flushes. The two-card hand is a pair or high card. The one-card hand is a high card. An ace is the highest card in an unpaired hand, except it may be used low or high in a straight.
The player must win at least two of the three hands to beat the house. There is no commission on wins. The dealer wins all ties, known as copies. Players may not bank in this game. The Wizard of Odds says the game has a house edge of 4.82%. That’s almost double that of Pai Gow Poker. Much of this is due to the house copies on the one-card low hand.
