Dermot Smurfit’s Game Account Network (GAN) has announced that one of its clients, an unnamed leading land-based US casino operator, will be launching an international real-money online casino website via GAN’s platform which is home to exciting features like their revolutionary Simulated Gaming.

“GAN’s unique casino product is performing strongly in New Jersey’s regulated market and is anticipated to perform equally well in Europe’s fast-growing markets,” said Smurfit.

Mysterious International Online Casino

The platform powers the Betfair Casino site in New Jersey. GAN is yet to reveal the name of the operator that will be expanding overseas, but it’s “a major multi-property casino operator in a regional US gaming market with approximately $1b in annual land-based gaming revenues,” according to the press release.

The supplier together with its partner will launch an international online gambling website that will target European and non-European regulated gambling markets. The new casino and its associated mobile app are expected to go live at the same time in the first half of 2017.

Serious Marketing Budget

GAN will receive an upfront cash payment of $1.4 million for its casino management system and gaming content upon completion of a comprehensive due diligence process, with the money to be paid before the end of the year. Additionally, GAN will be entitled to receive a percentage of the net income from the new online casino’s operations in the future.
GAN says the international online gaming site launch will be accompanied by an estimated $10 million annual marketing budget (which is to be paid by the operator) over the life of the 7-year contract.

The international online gambling website will be subject to the strict supervisory requirements of the UK’s Gambling Commission and will operate using GAN’s existing unique gaming platform. It will also integrate the operator’s existing casino rewards program, which GAN says is the first time non-US residents have had access to such great benefits.

GAN to Shift Their Focus On B2B Clients

Following the divestment of its B2B assets, the company will be able to focus on its services to B2B clients. It will also allow the client the chance to expand their US operations into the international market.

Pearl River Resort is the Mysterious Operator

In the second half of December 2018, just weeks before the start of the new year, renowned, award-winning British casino software supplier Game Account Network (GAN) announced the launch of a new Simulated Gaming website. It is provided to the Pearl River Resort, the operator of three land-based casino establishments in the state of Mississippi.

In an official statement, the Chief Executive Officer of GAN, Dermot Smurfit informed of the content that would be featured on the free play unique platform. The selection includes free-play video slots, along with a collection of video poker titles, table games, and bingo content.

According to Smurfit, GAN’s collaboration with an operator that matches the proportions of the Pearl River Resort is massive progress for both parties. Moreover, he states that:

This represents a brand new, strategic market for GAN, and we look forward to working with Pearl River to grow their Simulated Gaming business in the coming months. In the first half of 2018, GAN grew gross purchases by players by over 52% due to both new launches and existing expansion. GAN now has successfully launched Simulated Gaming websites for 14 clients across 11 states, and we continue to see incremental opportunity to scale this segment through online/on-property marketing activity and working with our casino partners to expand user interaction and engagement.
