A Closer Look at the Founders
Garnett was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2020 after a 21-year NBA career that included a world championship with the 2007-08 Boston Celtics. Considered one of the best power forwards of all time, Garnett was one of only five players to win both the NBA Most Valuable Player and the Defensive Player of the Year awards.
Jaymee Messler, former CMO for Excel Sports Management, also co-founded The Players’ Tribune with former baseball star Derek Jeter. The Tribune is a sports media company that gives athletes a platform to connect with fans directly.

Learn The Terms, Own The Court
A new betting-related platform with the endorsement of high-profile US sports figures is just another sign that gambling has arrived in the USA. But it is still growing. Sports betting is legal in 21 states, and nine other states have pending legislation. So, Garnett and Messler want to ensure that new bettors get off on the right foot and veterans have more tools to use.
It will be interesting to see how the Gaming Society’s approach works and how big its following will be. The new platform should offer some fun to the gambling world while latching on to a growing trend.
