Virtual New Year’s Eve Show in Las Vegas

The fact that there are no New Year’s celebrations in Las Vegas is truly an anomaly. However, 2020 has been a strange year in general. Local authorities called off all New Year’s celebrations back in October, citing the pandemic’s spread as a health and safety issue. This precaution is needed.

However, that doesn’t dampen the mood of those who love to visit Las Vegas for the holidays. The president of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, Steve Hill, said in a press release about the celebration:

Celebrating New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas is a bucket list item and a long-held tradition.

The LVCVA has decided to host a virtual celebration to uphold the tradition. The unique party hopes to remedy that by providing a little bit of entertainment.

The live stream will include a brilliant and flashy fireworks display followed by a DJ set and will last around 15 to 20 minutes. Check out the LVCVA’s website, Youtube, and Facebook to access the event.
