Stockholm-based casino supplier, NetEnt is looking to further strengthen its position in the US market. After a years-long presence on the New Jersey regulated online marketplace in the US, the software company was finally awarded a Casino Service Industry Enterprise license. On the other hand, NetEnt is also expanding its presence in Pennsylvania with a multi-year contract with Parx Casino. Keep reading to learn the latest details on the company’s key US partnerships.
NetEnt New Jersey Licensing
NetEnt first applied for this license when they entered the market back in mid-2015. Soon afterward, in September 2015, the company was granted a transactional waiver (a kind of temporary operative license) that allowed it to cater to players from the NJ jurisdiction without breaking any laws.
At the very start of 2019, the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement finally completed its licensing review process for NetEnt. This, however, does not mean that the company has been offering its products illegally so far.
NetEnt Americas
In this regard, bear in mind that this achievement is more rightfully attributed to a subsidiary of this Swedish casino software giant – NetEnt Americas. The Managing Director of NetEnt Americas, Erik Nyman, most definitely agrees with the importance of this license and what it means for future moves of the company:

Further Expansion Into Pennsylvania
Even though the official release of the Pennsylvania online gambling market is currently on hold, NetEnt’s plans for integration have moved forward. At the beginning of February, they announced a partnership with the famous Parx Casino.
They are intended to provide a diverse selection of online casino games to Parx Online. Aside from this platform, the Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment Inc. additionally owns and operates the Parx Casino, a horse racing parlor, and the largest gambling complex in the state.
