Red Dog has a ton of casino games on deck. Every category I explored had a good variety of titles. It’s one of the top catalogs I’ve come across. However, there were a few areas I would like to see improved upon.

At first glance, it appeared as though all of the games came with a synopsis, but then I realized the new games do not. I found myself avoiding them since I couldn’t find the RTPs up front.

Also, there appeared to be an option to play for free in demo mode if I logged out of my account. But once I clicked on it, I was forced to sign in and use real money to play.

It seems like, at one point, demo mode was engaged, but that’s no longer the case. 

My Top Game Picks

I will share a few of my favorites and go into detail about my gambling session and each category of games.

Slots

Definitely, online slots are Red Dog’s greatest strength. There are over 1,300, so I had plenty to explore.

I started with the game Max Catch since it had a low bet minimum of 10¢. After several rounds, I only won 3¢, so I moved on to Sunburst Eclipse Bonus, hoping for better luck. 

Next, I tried Lucky Golden Drop, and finally Funny Gummy, where I triggered ten free spins and boosted my bankroll.

All four games had an RTP of around 96.5%, which is rather average, and I think my slots session reflected that.

This site has a great selection compared to a lot of online casinos, but with so many titles, the organization could be better.

Currently, they are only grouped into popular, jackpots, and new. 

Sometimes, you want to narrow down your search by theme or developer, but that’s not an option at Red Dog.

Red Dog vs Other Casinos – Number of Slots

Blackjack

Honestly, I was very impressed by the size and variety of the blackjack selection at Red Dog.

I began with everyone’s favorite, single-deck blackjack. After winning and losing a few hands and getting two pushes, I almost broke even with $26.54 in my bankroll.

Next, I played Atlantic City blackjack, where, despite the advantageous rules of the game, I lost $6. I decided to take my $20.54 and move on to 21 Burn Blackjack, where I lost another $4.

I took the hint that it just wasn’t my day for this game and called it quits.

Despite these titles having RTPs around 99.5%, I hit a losing streak, which happens sometimes, but I still had fun.

Red Dog has a whopping 28 titles in this category, and I even found two more lurking in the table games section, so technically, there are 30. 

It’s a complete blackjack selection with variations you can’t find everywhere.

While bonus terms and conditions may vary, Red Dog’s general terms state that blackjack contributes 20% to the rollover requirements.

Roulette

Likewise, I found a better-than-average roulette selection on this site, but my gameplay could have gone better. 

With my $16.54, I decided to start simple with European roulette. Betting on red or black, I lost and won a few and ultimately ended up with $15.54 in my account.

Next, I played Luxe Multipliers roulette, but I didn’t score any multipliers and was down $2 overall.

I moved on to Dragon Roulette, where I lost most of the rounds and ended up with $10.54.

So, despite the RTP range between 97-98%, it wasn’t the best roulette session of my life, but it was still enjoyable. 

There are 19 titles and a great variety, including some I haven’t seen before, like Luxe Multipliers and European Deluxee.

The only drawback is that roulette doesn’t have its own category.

However, it’s a sizeable selection compared to many online casinos, and the graphics are excellent since quality developers like SpadeGaming and Dicelab supply the games.

I didn’t experience any glitching or lag, which can affect the enjoyment of a roulette game. You’re watching a wheel spin in anticipation of its result.

Unfortunately, roulette does not contribute to bonus rollover requirements at Red Dog.

Other Table Games

Undoubtedly, the table games selection on this site is another pro.

There are 61 titles in this category, but since blackjack and roulette are mixed in, I’ll talk about the rest, which leaves us with 31 games. 

I started by playing Andar Bahar, where I won $2 off the bat. Then I played Draw Hi-Lo, winning and losing a few rounds but ultimately making another $2, bringing my bankroll to $12.54.

Finally, I tried Top Card Trumps, a game similar to war, and ended up winning $4 to conclude my session with $16.54, which was a nice little boost

Despite the slightly lower RTPs between 95-97%, I still did better than when I played blackjack.

Red Dog has a great selection of table games compared to other sites, including craps, poker, and several other card games.

Software developers like Betsoft and Rival provide many of these titles, and the graphics are on point.

Tri-Card poker contributes 20% to bonus rollover requirements, but the terms and conditions can vary.

Video Poker

Playing video poker at Red Dog was so much fun, and I ended up having my largest win here.

The first game I played was Aces and Faces. I started with $16.54 and mostly broke even for the entirety of the game before hitting a losing streak and ending with $14.74.

Then I moved on to Deuces Wild, which had a Double Up option on wins, leading me to score 20¢. It wasn’t much, but it was something.

After a continued string of losses in Double Double Bonus Poker, things finally turned around when I got four Aces and won $8, allowing me to conclude my session on a high note at $20.04.

I’ll readily admit I’m not the best poker player, so I’m sure someone else with more skill could have done better, considering the RTPs are between 98-99%.

I still had fun exploring the 26 titles in this section, which is far more than I’ve found at many other online casinos.

Casual Games – Specialty Games

Specialties or casual games at Red Dog were a pleasure to play.

I started with Plinko Rush and hit a 2.8x multiplier on my first drop. It only equated to 45¢, but a win is a win.

After a few more rounds of mostly breaking even, I moved on to Captain Keno, where I guessed several numbers correctly but didn’t win anything. 

Then, I played Triple Cash or Crash, which resulted in a few losses and one win. I finished up with a couple of rounds of Minesweeper, one of my favorite games, and won $2.40, which isn’t surprising given the 98.4% RTP.

There are 57 titles in this category, and although a good chunk of them are scratch cards, there were enough options throughout to keep me entertained. 

Surprisingly, the casual games category is the most organized of them all, with groupings for Plinko, Keno, shooter games, scratch cards, bingo, mining games, and others.

It made exploring easy and much more enjoyable.

Live Dealer Games

Impressively, the live dealer games selection at Red Dog is huge. I went for it and hopped in a blackjack game with a $10 bet minimum and immediately lost the first round.

I decided a more conservative wager was in order, so I took the $10.85 I had and chose a $1 roulette game. I bet on red and black to play it safe and ended up winning $3 in the end.

The dealer was having so much fun, and her energy was so infectious that it made up for the initial hit in blackjack.
