As a long-standing casino, Cafe Casino may have reached peak popularity. However, they sure aren’t beating their drum with promotions. While I was there, Cafe Casino promotions numbered just six, lower than the industry average.

Cafe Casino bonuses include two attractive welcome bonuses, one for cryptocurrency deposits. They both come with 40 times (bonus plus deposit) playthrough requirements and six months to achieve them.

My Game Picks

During my session, I tried several games from all categories and these were my favorite ones:

Blackjack

I like the Qora Games version because I have played it at other sites and it gives me the expected 99% plus RTP. 

Blackjack pays 3:2, you can have up to three splits at one time except with aces, but you only get 1:1 blackjack payout on a split.

Jacks or Better

This is one of my favorite games. You can play up to a 10-hand version at Cafe Casino.

The game is coin-based, with wagers ranging from a penny for the 10-hander to $5 for the single-hand version.

Bonus Deuces Wild

This is the only Deuces Wild version at Cafe Casino, and I like it because of the extra bonus paid for four 2s.

It doesn’t hit as much as Jacks, but the RTP is a smidge higher.

I use a strategy chart for either game. 

Demon’s Delight

This slot by Rival Gaming is an artistic tribute to classic cartoons.

It features active animations that entertain during bonus rounds. It has a 94.9% RTP and low volatility.

Reels & Wheels

This is a simple, clean, crisp slot version of a wheel spin with traditional symbols.

It has a bonus wheel with multipliers that can lead to a jackpot wheel.

A more modern version – Reels and Wheels XL – doesn’t seem to hit the bonus wheel as often. The 96% RTP is good for slots.

The online slots collection is what I consider above average. With around 380 slots in the library, the numbers aren’t overwhelming.

The slots I played have RTPs of around 94%. And I know game suppliers such as Betsoft, Rival, and Realtime run tested random number generators (RNGs) that ensure fair spins.

Plus, Cafe Casino has two of my all-time favorites, Demon’s Delight and Reels & Wheels.

There will undoubtedly be something there for you, too, because Cafe Casino easily covers all of the bases with the lineup.

All of the popular themes are there, from adventure to zoo animals, and three—to five-wheel displays with multiple paylines are available. There are jackpots galore, including the Hot Drop Jackpots that drop on the hour.

The slots section displays the games alphabetically, and a search mode can bring up a favorite.

And remember: slots are the best way to clear bonus playthroughs.

Blackjack

I always drop by the blackjack table at any casino, online or brick-and-mortar. The game is simple, fast, and has an RTP of over 99% if you play proper strategy.

I’ve memorized a strategy chart and I recommend at least keeping a chart handy. But, strategy didn’t keep me from taking a small loss at the blackjack tables.

Cafe Casino and other online casinos have the advantage of a wider variety of blackjack versions.

They have 12 versions of blackjack, including 6-deck, single deck, double deck, Pontoon, and games with bonus bets that award players for matching ranks and suits. 

You get just 10% credit toward your bonus rollover when betting blackjack.

Roulette

The classic casino game offers multiple betting options that you can use in one spin of the iconic wheel.

Cafe Casino roulette offers four variants: American (double zero) and European (single zero). There is also a French variant that offers options for recovering some even-odds bets and a new version called Dragon Roulette with extra animation and multipliers.

Some of the variants are created by more than one software provider, so you can take your pick of bet ranges and layouts.

The wagering limits start at $1, and you can spread them or larger amounts around the board for up to $500 in bets per spin.

The advantage of roulette online is its speed. I can get in at least a few roulette spins in most online gambling sessions. 

Roulette wagering offers just 5% credit toward a bonus playthrough requirement.

Other Table Games

If you like any card or dice games, Cafe Casino is a great place to be because the variety of these games is better than at most sites.

The card games include jackpot games, Caribbean, and Let ‘em Ride. And they are progressive jackpots, upwards of $100,000 when I visited.

I rarely play these, but there are dedicated players, and the jackpots are enticing! Other card games include three-card poker, Teen Patti, Pai Gow, and Red Dog.

Teen Patti Pro is a take on the Indian classic, and I grew to love it because of the side bet options and the ability to bet on both the player and dealer sides.

The dice games start with Craps, the classic casino game that is much more fun to play at a land-based casino with a crowd gathered.

The online version has the advantage of speed and the ability to bet Don’t Pass (best odds in the house) without disapproval from other players. But you have to wait for the right rolls.

Cafe Casino also has the Lucky Wheel game, a 0 to 9 wheel with 9-1 odds for hitting the number and a random multiplier of up to 4. Most table game bets give you 20% or less credit toward your bonus playthrough.

Video Poker

Video poker is an excellent RTP game, so I usually hit them and hope for a hit with a top hand. However, some draw choices are tricky, so a strategy chart is necessary for the best returns.

Cafe Casino has in their catalog Aces & Faces, Bonus Deuces Wild, Double Double Bonus Poker, Jacks or Better, Joker Poker, and 10s or Better, with multi-hand versions of many games and single-hand.

This is a good lineup for an online casino, but the bet limits are tiny because of the high RTP. For example, you can play no more than five 25-cent coins on Bonus Deuces Wild for a maximum total bet of $1.25.

Video poker offers just 5% betting credit toward bonus rollover requirements.

I spent most of my time here on Bonus Deuces Wild because I memorized the strategy, and the “9-4” paytable is in line. Despite that, I never hit big and ended up in the red.

So, I went to the Jacks or Better because you get more hits, as I know the strategy there.

I came out there about even. Then I dabbled in the 10-hand Jacks or Better and had the best return by getting five or more hits on several hands.

Casual Games – Specialty Games

There were over 50 specialty games at Cafe Casino when I last visited the category.

That’s more than most online casinos offer, but I usually avoid games that don’t involve skill.

The games include scratch-offs, bingo, keno, and arcade-type guessing games. There are also four Plinko games, including their exclusive Wild Plinko. The bet ranges on the games I checked were 10 cents to $500.

The Amazonia Bingo had a $3,000 jackpot, and I saw pots as high as $100,000 and 25,000 times the wager.

I sometimes play keno with the local lottery, so I took a shot at Cafe Casino’s one keno game. It’s a 1 to 80 game that allows 15 picks and drops 20 numbers.

My five spot hit three numbers only once in 10 tries playing my numbers system. That got me $ .50 on a $ .25 bet – five hits would have yielded $212.

Then, I played three of their crash games. These games progress through levels, and you have to guess the highest level before the subject “crashes.”

I guessed wrong. But most specialty game bets contribute 100% to playthroughs.

Live Dealer Games

Cafe Casino’s live dealer games include six game options: all table games—Super 6, Baccarat, two Blackjack, and two Roulette. They do not have any other games that involve bigger studio productions.

The bet limits on live games range from $5 to $50,000, so budget players and high rollers are welcome. Some card games offer side bet options for paying extra for matching suits or ranks.

When I checked in, the blackjack section had 34 tables. Each table has seven seats, and most tables had seats open. Most games were not too busy, so finding a table open was easy.

To play, click on a game in the Live Dealer section. Choose a game with suitable limits, and you’ll be taken to a live-streamed table. The live screen is well laid out and easy to navigate, but I don’t recommend playing on a smartphone.

Chip size options are set before you, and your balance is displayed. You drag or click, similar to games on the digital side, but you also have the option to chat with others at the table. You can even tip the dealer.
